Excellent little tape measure29 December 2023The Stanley FatMax Xtreme 5m tape measure is a great little tape. Nice big hook, wide tape with great standout, bright and easy to read tape, and I like that the tape is numbered with each and every cm increment – e.g. you have numbers 30, 31, 32, etc instead of a lot of tapes (even other Stanley's) with 300 then 10, 20, 30, etc (depends what you prefer, but I like it). It's also a very nice touch that the 10-30mm numbers are printed around the hook and not obscured by the hook like a lot of other tapes get wrong. The size and weight is also perfect when you don't want to lug around an 8m or 10m tape. Only addition that would make it perfect would be if it was double sided (i.e. measurements printed on the underside) but it's a feature I very rarely need so doesn't bother me. It's my favourite tape so far.
